I firmly believe that stories have the power to open up our minds to new horizons. They can change our perspective by putting us into other people’s shoes and allow us to view and think the world differently. This is why I am sharing my passion for great books and films, all of them linked in one way or another to the overall theme of cross-cultural communication. This can be anything from experiences in foreign cultures, to stories about voluntary migration or forced displacement. It is an ever-evolving list of my favorites. I look forward to receiving your feedback and thoughts.

Which books or films have I missed?
